What is Qigong?
theQigong is a therapeutic artderived from traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
"Qi": the vital energy or omnipresent energy flow and "Gong": training or working on this energy in order to generate and control it, in order to strengthen the immune, cardiovascular, respiratory and digestive systems, concentration, relaxation, balance, to soften the musculoskeletal structure, to optimize the self-regulation of the nervous system by circulating this vital energy harmoniously throughout the body through breathing, concentration, meditation and visualization in a sequence of very precise, ample and flexible movements.
Through a regular deep practice of Qigong control of one's body, breathing and thought, one can learn to perceive one's vital energy, to concentrate it and to direct it along the energy paths (the meridians of acupuncture).
The Qigong methods taught are Daoyin Yang Sheng Gong according to Professor Zhang Guang De and Health Qigong or Health Qigong.
These Qigong methods are adaptable and accessible to everyone.
